Default Necessary parts needed for JDM EF front conversion

already searched, didn't come up with much

Just checking up before i purchase this stuff, iv managed to get a hold of the following parts all from a JDM ef8 Crx

headlights,bumper w/ lip,hood,front turn signals,corner lights

DON'T HAVE -

fenders or radiator support

... knowing that most places sell this conversion including fenders and rad support, im curious if these parts are actually needed.

anyone out there with this JDM EF8/9 front that can help me verify the differences between US fenders and JDM besides the side markers.
also... im pretty sure i can make brakets myself for the headlights, i don't really think i NEED the rad support ... what do you guys think ?

The rad support is just so the hood closes right. But you can just use washers to move it foward and it will work just fine. The JDM EF8 fenders are pretty close to the same as USDM ones, just no side markers. Yes you can just use evrything you have right now and it will all bolt up. There is not a special thing you need for the headlights. they bolt right in just like stock.

actually they bolt in differently, the stock ones have a black frame around the back of them and the JDM ones have no frame

that they do, they just bolt differently, the JDM ones bolt directly to the body, the USDM ones' bracket bolts to the body.......

actually if you are using the si-r radiator support with the vent, its exactly like the usdm radiator support. you are gonna have to space the hood latch out like bryant said. unless your front end came off of a sohc chassis car than it will be 100% bolt on with no mods.

heres the radiator support off of a sohc crx with si-r front, notice where the hole is at compared to a US/Si=R. no vent either.

as for not needing jdm fenders for the conversion to work, is this the same case with the civic jdm front ends?

I've also heard HF radiator support will work with the JDM front end, can anyone confirm this?

d00d, let me clear this ******* **** up right now because i am tired of people calling this a radiator support when its NOT

that is a ******* radiator support, now you see the thing in the middle that has that bar running down it? that piece is the piece that needs to be changed for the JDM front end, it unbolts and i do not have a technical term for it but it is PART of the radiator support but it is NOT called a radiator support

WTF, you live in Japan , the only wrecking yards around here is full Gutted Mustangs, and then some....non gutted mustangs.

About the Front End though, ya that Hood latch you could make the one you have now work, and fenders are basically the same just get the sidemarkers, and put them on your self. My SiR front end costed me $800 Canadian
