AZENIS ROCK! Not that great for wet traction but they held up fairly well early last year at VIR when it was flooded, while driving the R!!

I got black Tenzo R's 18 Formula 10's with Kumho wrap. I am happy with the end results. However I've heard bad things about Kumho in responses to traction. I think I'll wear these down as soon as possible and replace with Nittos or somthing that I can get better traction with. I mean, I'm getting good traction, but around a corner the other day at 50 mph I got sideways, everything was ok, I'm not a drifter but you probably couldn't tell by the way I handled it. Either way, I'd go with a different wrap. Talk to you later.

Personally I give nitto's a I havent heard the best of reviews from them. Right now I am running stock rims and stock tires in the rear and some yokohama tires in the front and they are actually worse then the stock ones im pretty pissed that I swapped them out. Ya I im leaning towards the falken even if I live in seattle and it rains alot. I dont need to be speed racer in the rain.

Kumho MX.

The fact that they get a bit better as they heat up, makes them a good choice for HPDEs.

I like my nitto 460s. Not the best but good price. My next ones are either parada spec2s or Falken Azenis. My friends have had bad experiences with kumhos and toyos.

What RPM are you guys able to launch at with your tires? Right now i have to launch at 2000. It really slows me down. So I am looking for a good grippy tire.

i hate the stock tires. i have my 18" volks just sitting in my room. waiting for money so i can have those mounted and balanced and put an end to the misery of stock tires. the only thing stock tires are good for is burning out. lol.
