distributor questions
here is the question: purchased the car at 70K, now has 115K, i havnt changed the distributor cap, rotor, or wires since then. I have how ever replaced the spark plugs last spring and the ones in there didnt show that much wear. I have also replaced recently the fuel filter and PCV valve. Prior to this i had a ruff idle/high idle that was immediatly fixed. Now the car idles smooth as new, and starts fine.
--now the questions part. I am not looking for performance. I am on a limited budget after loosing parttime job. I notice no problems but the problems might have been there so long that it seems normal. Do these parts need to be replaced?? DO the HAVE to be OE parts? IF not, are there any quality problems with autozone, pepboys etc. etc. parts??
--thanks for the help guys.

Cap - ~$22
Rotor - ~$16
Wires - ~$50
All these parts can be had at most parts stores although they might have to order them. Parts common on most cars seem to be hard to find for the GSR (PCV).
