Strange clunk coming from the left side suspension.... What is it???
I have had my suspenstion apart lately, but the clunking was going on before I took it apart. It only happends when I hit the brakes or I jerk the wheel to the left really hard. I do have a cracked LCA bushing where the long bolt goes through the shock fork, could this be my problem? I have searched and I havent come up with much else. BTW my car is not lowered, well it sorta is, it dropped about 3/4 and inch when I did the swap....

I dont think that its the wheel bearing, it only happends when I hit the brakes or dump the clutch, theres isnt any whriling sounds or anything that sounded like and exh leak. Could it be a bushing or something that is shot? IM pretty sure that its not the axle, I just replaced it about 3 months ago.

It's your trailing arm bushings
you need to get them redone
it happens on my 89 and i just don't care
lol its too much for the labor to replace those damn things
