what does the snorkel inatke do? is it just a reg. intake? or is it something else?

 

I dont think it dows much at all, but it is made to bring cool air thru the intake. its just bling to me

yikes, too much hostility! In fact the snorkel helps. Most engine mods for this car that are limited to using the stock ecu keep power levels up and might not make huge gains but keep the power from dropping. Such as a cold air intake or a t-stat or a intake manifold gasket.

Unlike the Mugen it does not requiring the hood to be cut.

I'm actually positive snorkel helps at higher speeds, at least it felt like it did when I had it. Looks cool too.
