Default intake question---ALREADY SEARCHED

Okay here is the deal, I've been permitted to get an intake by my at home supervisor. The car in question is a 91 hatch/b16. I've read that alot of people just run the 99-Si CAI but I am more interested in the short ram. Would it be possible to run the short-ram with the battery in the stock location? I'll probably end up getting AEM either way.

Just buy an intake for the CRX Si, and it will fit the B16. If you wanted to get a bigger sized intake, then just look on ebay. They sell 3" CRX intakes, and it will clear the battery. The only reason people use the 99-00 SI AEM intake is because it was made by AEM for the B16. I have a cheap ram ebay 3" CRX intake on my B16 CRX, and it works just fine.

you asked your parents if you could get an intake? no flame intended but dont automatically start scanning name brand catalogs. the best finds are on ebay. i got an intake from ebay that fit perfect and came with a filter for $30. and it is bigger in diameter that my friends b16 aem intake. youll be better off trying to mod a stock crx si intake to fit with your battery than the 99-00 si. since the si doesnt have the battery in the EF's same location. also look into intakes for the 90-93 integras.
