Default New Lower Pricing on 11.75/12.2" kits...

In order to get these kits into production, I have decided to offer the kits with all the hard parts, EXCEPT for the calipers. I don't really make much on the calipers anyway, and since there are plenty of stores that sell the Wilwood calipers at good prices, this seems like a good way to get the kit made. So in light of that, I think I can offer the kit, with 2 piece rotors(either 11.75 or 12.2"), all attaching hardware, hub rings, etc for approx $485. All you need to complete the kit are the calipers and your choice of pads.

Hopefully this affordable alternative will allow production to get underway soon...

I will let H-T members have the kit for $425. This should allow you to complete the kit for less than $800, depending on caliper choice and pad costs. Besides you can do it over a couple of paychecks and have $ to do more than work on your car

cool Brian. At the moment I'm unemployed, but I know I keep bothering you by email, phonecalls and HT posts about your brake kits. I got a job interview this thurs and if it goes well, I can get me some new brakes within a few weeks. Thanks for your help to us HT members.

i just got a job! hopefully i'll see how that cash flow affects my wallet..... but i'm planning on saving $50 - $75 a week and put the rest in the bank.... hmmm or maybe $100 a week

hey fastbrakes, you know how rotors eventually get worn through..... how much will replacing the rotors cost after my first set wears out? I have to calculate the initial cost, plus the future cost of replacement to see the big overall cost... TIA

Sicilain-Wilwoods are carried by a lot of different speed shops, and fabricators who deal with the domestic cars. Racesearch.com also carries them. The calipers for this kit are the Superlite IIA, part number 120-3194. If anyone wants to buy them I can refer you to my supplier who will give you a really good deal, or you can contact shops in your area.

You have to use the Wilwood calipers with this setup as the stock calipers won't clear the rim.

Keys-The Wilwood rotors are available at any Wilwood dealer, same place you get the calipers from. Any of the Circle Track magazines have lots of dealer ads so you shouldn't have any problem finding a local supplier.

Brian:

with the wilwood superlite ITA's and your 11.75" kit, how much does it weigh compared to the stock GSR braking system? Are your rotors a 2 piece rotor?

The Superlites weigh about 7 lbs each with pads, stockers weigh 15. 11.75" 2 piece rotors weigh 10 lbs each, stockers 12. Weight savings approx 10 lbs per side, more or less.
