Help this Noob...04 RR or GSX-R
I've already searched through the "am I too tall" posts.
Seems most of you are saying that a CBR would be bigger/more comfortable than a GSX-R
I've sat in my friends lowered R6 and it seems fine, maybe a bit small.
On most Sport Bike Reviews, I read that the GSX-R is more spread out which leads me to believe that it will have a better riding position for me.
I used to own a F3
before I got into my accident. That bike was fine and I'm pretty sure I haven't grown much since then.
All comments, input, flames are welcome.
Thanks.
Jin

I don't understand what you need help with. If I had my choice between those two, I would take the honda, I think it looks nicer. The headlight on the 04 GSXR600s look kinda funky, I like the 03 GSXR1000 headlight a lot more.

I like the new headlight from an aerodynamics stand point. Is this basically the same fron end as the Hayabusa? I know the headlight is almost the same thing (if not THE exact same) but I remember an article talking about how the busa's front end was the most aerodynamic out of any bike made.

it was about time they restyled the 600 gixxer....i am not so sure i like it but the suzuki's really grow on me, i don't like them at all at first but then i start to love em...i've never really liked hondas styling at all....
Thanks for the input. But yet again my question goes unanswered.
"Which 600cc sport bike would be more comfortable/suitable for a 6'2 rider?"
Sounds like GsxR but still not straight answer.

they all suck for 6'2". They suck equally. Just go sit on them all, there is little quantitative measurement that can be used to judge comfort. Especially when each person's preferences are different. The riding positions and orientations are very similar for the 04 600s
yeh you gotta sit on them and decide I am only 5"11, my buddy is 6"4 and he rides an 03 R6, but he never complained about being to tall, i think its just prefrence, you gotta sit on all of em and find out

I've sat on all the bikes. They are all comfortable enough for me to buy.
Guess I'll just buy the one thats looks cooler... GSXR...mmmmmm

the gixxer needs a real makeover. The plastics on it look so old school. I would definatly look at the competitors, and definatly buy the RR over the GSXR IMO.
I think as far as 600's go, Triumph's is the best looking. But then again if you think the GSXR is a good looking bike then we have nothing in common.
How the bike looks is the last on the shopping list though, as when you are on it you can't see yourself anyway.

You don't see those everyday.

And then I will happily point out:
"....34-year-old Bruce Anstey and his Triumph ValMoto Daytona 600 proved to be today's dominant force around the legendary Mountain Course. Anstey finished 10.96 seconds ahead of his nearest rival and recorded the fastest ever Supersport TT race, which he completed in 1:15.13.98." - Isle of Man, 2003.
Dyno sheets make decent toilet paper.

Nothing new for 04 except the schemes. They're already on showroom floors. Nice stuff.

I'd go with the GSXR rather than the RR.
