Default ek sides on eg...

now before you try and go flaming this isnt in the writeup... i have a coupe, not a hatch and i was wondering if anyone has done this. I will not have to trim that extra two inches, they fit perfectly... however that promotes a problem. The ek sideskirts flare outward in the front and in trimming that two inches for the hatch, it gets rid of most of that. Since i dont have to trim that off it sticks off of the body of the car about an inch and a half in the front. So basically my question is if anyone has dont this, what did you find was the best way to pull them in on the front... thanks

Your sideskirts must be from a 96+ Hatch. I got mine off a 96+ Coupe and I had to cut some off.

96-00 hatch side skirts and 96-00 side skirts are the same

so who ever said they are different is WRONG.

i know for a fact they are the same and my friend gsRmang can vouch for me that they are the same

i took off my stock flat black 98 hatch side skirts and put on fbp 99-00 civic si side skirts with no modification at all.

i think you 92-95 coupe guys need ek hatch/ek coupe sides and you just have to drill some of the holes, you will not have to cut

I did this on my Canadian CX Hatchback about two years ago. But, I cut off the rear part that stuck out and capped it with the flat piece from the end. I just used some black goop to attach it and it looks like nothing was done at all.

Maybe I just wanted mine to fit perferectly, because I only had to cut at most an inch, I think it was closer to half an inch. I wish I still had pics.

You can use either 96-00 sides, but they have to be trimmed 2" from what I've seen.
