FS: B16B Powered 1998 CX Hatch...Alabama, beautiful car
Take this thing off my hands for $9K
Well I have debated the idea for long enough and have decided to go ahead and sell the hatch. I am getting ready to buy a home and the car will not be a part of the overall plan. This car is a project that I had wanted for about five years. I have done all that I can afford at this time. So check it out and hit me up if you are interested.
1998 Honda Civic CX
*The vehicle carries a clear title with all past taxes paid, and title is in possesion
*I am the third owner of the car
*The chassis mileage is 98K miles
*The beautiful B16B swap has 38K miles
Wheels and Tires
*Black with red ring Tenzo Sinko R's 15 x 6.5", the wheels are MINT
*Falken Azenis 205/50/15 50% treadlife remains
Suspension
*Brand New Tokico Illuminas 5 way Adjustables on all four corners
*Tein S-Tech 1.9" Front and 1.7" Rear drop springs
Interior/ Exterior
*99-00 Civic Si cluster with matching mileage as the engine swap 38K, very clean
*All factory floormats, seats, rear seats, trunk mat, etc.
*Blaukpant CD player- cheap, came with the car. I listen to the motor!
*Non-SRS Civic Type R steering wheel, not currently installed. Goes with car!
*SRS light remains on from removing the OEM steering wheel the first time.
*OEM replica Square foglights go with car
Engine
*The best part of the car is the B16B that was purchased from http://www.hmotorsonline.com. This is the cleanest swap that I have ever seen. To say that the swap was complete is an understatement. The transmission shifts perfectly, the car starts every time with no check engine codes. At the time of the swap, which was October 2003 the following precautionary measures were taken:
The install and all of the prep work was professionally completed by J. Helbing at Motorvations Motorsports in Birmingham, AL. Keep in mind that all parts unless stated otherwise are new OEM Honda parts...ONLY!
*Distributor Cap *Rotor Button *Spark Plugs *NGK Plug Wires
*Timing Belt *Water Pump *Thermostat *Mobil Full Syn 10w30
*Honda Transmission Fluid *Oil Filter
At the time of the swap I added:
*Fluidyne Race Radiator
*B&M FRP and Gauge Combo
*Apexi World Sport Cat back exhaust
*Custom cat to accept the 2.5" OEM B16B header
*Fidanza Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel 8 lbs.
*ACT Street/Strip Clutch kit
The car is unmolested, undynoed, unraced, and worst of all not being driven. This is a damn good start to a badass street car. Or the finished product for a content fierce daily driver. So check out the pics, I have 40 of them so hit me up if you want more! My asking price is $9K. VIN# available upon request.

No, I really do not regret getting an ITR swap. I really had always wanted the B16B to be different. Don't get me wrong, that is a badass motor. The CTR swap is plenty strong for me.

bumpdiggity for the clean *** hatch with CTR motor
