Default EG6 headlights...wiring..

K I asume I have to use the plug that came with the lights?? or can I use the old one?? THey look the same....any differences I should look for??

also I know they are h4 bulbs correct? is there a way I can reuse my h3 bulb? the prongs seem the same, just need to trim the shield.....any thoughts??

What do the city lights get wired up too? I'd asume the corners, but I already will have my sidemarkers going there and I kinda want to use the city lights as day time running lights...like whenever the key is on the on position they are on.......what fuse would you guys recommend to wire those up too directly?

Anyone care to help a brotha out??

The bulb you need to use is the H4H bulb. From my research, I've only found 3 companies that make them. Raybrig (aftermarket division of Stanley), Polarg and Stanley.

I think you can use the same plug for the EG headlights.

As for the city light, I'm pretty sure that they are supposed to be on when the car is on, except when the headlights are on at night.

I'm putting mine in this spring, so I'm not completely sure how I am wiring mine either. I might just skip using the city light for a bit.

you are correct on the h4h, the wiring is identical. i have the eg6's in my hatch as well. i prefer raybrigs. you can get them at opitions. as far as the city lights, i just spliced them into the corner markers. they are on when the corners are on.

hmmm, do the city lights stay on with the headlights aswell???

I know I can splice the city lights into the corner but I want them on when the Key is in the car..........my corners will function as is.....since I don't want to go JDM and take them out and have them nly blink.......cuz I'll get pulled over.....and if I do that I'll have to leave the sidemarkers on at all times......dunno..

the city lights go on with 1 click of the switch.. like how the corners light up at one click then the headlights and corners (city/running lights) at 2 clicks..
and the corners arnt lit up with the headlights on jdm, only when they are blinking. same with the side markers on a eg6.. only lit up when the blinker is on
