Some people really appreciate the NA rooute, I met a guy last night at a gas station who was driving one of those Mazdaspeed Protege turbo?, I guess is what it was.
Anyway he had some custom stuff done. The car looked good, I was in my 94-CX so when I told him I also have an RSX, he stated he liked it. And was impressed by Acura with the engine.
BTW, he is the assistant service manager at the Mercedes dealer here in town

On that link, they mention that they retard timing/run a tad rich to be on the
safe side when using the N2O. Maybe that accounts for the dip? I dunno.

This is a dry shot. The fuel arrives a little before the nitrous, so it runs rich for about 1500 rpm. It works better triggered at about 5000 rpm where the air intake velocities are higher.
And yes from 6000 rpm up it is very smooth and deceptively fast when spraying.
