Default putting in exhaust in slammed type r strat?

this question may sound silly, just wondering if there is anyone out there with this problem. my type r is really slammed to the ground, i got a header and full exhaust and dont have access to a lift im planning on jacking it up with a bunch of hyrdo 4 ton jacks, has anyone else done this,im still a lil confused on how to go bout doing this, if anyone else has done this what kind of strategy did u use thanx

Well first off, it's probably better if your car wasn't so low, in regards to performance and safety. As for lifting your car, you should be fine if you jack up the car with the 4 ton jacks but make sure to use jack stands, since you're going to be working under the car.

roll it onto 2x4 planks, jack it up, put jack stands under it, install exhaust. cake.

...exactly. That's what I use to do, then I realized that the car shouldn't even be that low, to the point where I would have to to a ramp just to get a jack underneath....

Some of the better jacks have as low as 3"3/4 clearance... but I'm assuming you are talking about a regular jack... or is it THAT low...

I'd much rather use the planks + regular jack than several independant ones...

My car is only on H&R sport springs, and we have a really nice jack and I still have to pull up on the fender slightly to get the jack under the jack point
