i have a technical ? for u s2000 guys
we have recently obtained a 1970 triumph tr6 (my dads EXACT first car) and it needs to be restored frame up. we dont want to put the stock motor in it for many reasons, one for reliability, and two for slowness. i have seen pictures of tr6's w/s2000 motors in them and i cant seem to find any specs on the motor and transmission. it looks like it would probly fit quite well in the car b/c its pretty much the same size and the engine bay is about the same.
so my ? is, what are all the deminsions of the motor and tranny together; i.e., how long, tall, wide, weight, etc.
thanks for all the help guys.

nobody has a link or something that could help me out? i searched for like 2 hrs tryin to find out info on it and all i can find is the hp/trq and stuff like that.
yeah, ive been looking at that site and i cant find out the information i need. i do know the dimensions of the actual car now though, but that doesnt help me that much.
try contacting a company that sells the changeovers. I'm sure if you are serious they would be able to get you some answers.
yeah, i saw one in a 86 corolla i think? not sure what it was and i emailed everyone i could find that had the s2000 swap and no one's replied to me yet.

it'll be hard to get exact measurements unless someone has a spare assembly laying around. If you want it to work, you should pick up a set and go from there. Either way, you're looking at a lot of fabrication anyways.
