Whatever your modle is you need to mod your harness. The JDM B16 harness would need to be rewired , TPS for example on US car goes to drivers side connector, but on SiR harness it goes to the right side. But both cars Injectors go on the left side. I gave up at that point and decided I had to fix my old harness. And strip the KNock sensor and Vtec related stuff from the SiR harness. To make a piggyback harness. Everyone tells you to just do it that way, but not why. Well somethings that need to go on the left go on the right, and somethings that need to go on the right go to the left, and somethings are exactly where they need to be otherwise. Connectors match, but color codes do not, nor do physical pinouts. This is Why a JDM SiR harness inan EF9 will not work on a US spec car. Let me be the first to explain the reason. I looked over both wiring diagrams and even checked physical routing. Hope this turns up on future searchs to save others time.

Its not only easier to mod yours , Because A SiR would be good only as a core to create a new harness from scratch

its pre obd, and all you need to do is add 4 wires or just get the sub harness from hasport or place racing. good luck
