im rebuilding my d16z6 in my 93 ex with new stock pistons, 20 over, new bearing and gaskets and such, arp rod bolts, arp head studs, crank scraper, block gaurd, undecided on cam, rebuild the head with 5 angle valve job, and ihi turbo, dsm bov, 440 cc injectors, afc hack, and undecided on intercooler.. any1 got pics of starion?. while im building her what else should i spring for, what am i missing? im only wanting to run like 10 psi, im also undecided about which rings to run?

 

you should get aftermarket pistons and rods since you're rebuilding...

shes a budget rebuild

 

Budget in which way? Because stock pistons cost about the same as aftermarket pistons

 

i can get a complete rebuild kit for my motor for 340 bucks

slap in a set of srp's and use a set of ls rods bushed for sohc pistons.

 

i got ls rods and i think im gonna use new stock pistons

 

I have a starion FMIC in my sol..

 

thicker head gasket to lower compression. stock cam , no overlap.
