peeled shift ****, cracked seats(side bolster and seat cushion) second gear grind. all fixed with little headache(one of the service reps was a byotch from hell that no longer works there) remedy- switched to a different service rep and everything was taken care of. hell i even had an o2 sensor go bad after my turbo install and that was replaced. i got lucky with that one though. i have a few friends that work there.

I don't have any problems yet, My tranny is really fickle and tech-line told me that Honda asked for three of them for a tear-down and inspection....Well see how that pans out...

There is a bulletin on the head rest fabric coming out from around the trim rings...

damn that sucks. but look at the bright side dwnshf02- you could spend a couple of bucks and have them pop in the heated seat cushions.

Car has 12k miles on 03 and 3rd gear sometimes grinds when downshifting. It also pops out of gear when it grinds upshifting. I just have to make sure that it goes into 3rd before popping clutch.

Have you taken it to the dealer for that...Popping out of gear is not normal at all. I am wondering how they handled it?

Acura will replace our seats if they are badly cracked? That would be very
nice. Anybody else have their seats replaced or repaired under warranty?

Every RSX or any Acura for that metter has had the leather covers replaced (no-charge)as long as they are in Warranty...No questions asked...
Just b/c the fact is shorter people are harder on the leading edge of the seats upper cushion

That's normal. When you disconnect the battery, you have to hold the auto up up for 5 sec, and down for 5 sec for it to work again.

Passenger & Drivers side leather cracked, and was replaced. Tranny was "fixed" w/ a new clutch due to a 2nd gear grind that never went away. Power steering pump was noisy, and was replaced. Brakes were replaced due to being noisy (and no, it was not the dummy alert ). A/C compressor was replaced as it was leaking. That's all I can think of for now...

Had to replace the molding around the winshield, it started to get all discolored and flaky. Had to replace some AC piping under the hood. Some piant is chipping on the rear bumper, under where the hatch comes down so i guess no biggie (yet). Due to a road rage incident some bitch threw a glass bottle at me on the freeway so now have about 10 chips in the front bumper. Many, cracks and rattles, but supposodly its normal for RSX to do, especially around the winshield area . Leather for now is fine thank god . And no tranny problems at all yet, except when i miss shift. 03 with 6500 miles

It doesn't really pop out of gear. Sometimes when the clutch is depressed, it doesn't go into gear all the way, so it grinds and pops out into neutral when I release the clutch. To avoid this, I just either shift slowly or make sure it goes in before I pop the clutch. It's no biggy, I only did this like twice. My 3rd gear doesn't sound as bad as other people on HT.

sunroof is rusting!
drivers side seat is cracking!
brakes are sqeeking!
damn so many things wrong. i need to take it in and get some stuff replaced. just been busy. the rust in the sunroof is a major problem here in hawaii. it seems like anyone with a 2002 is having rust form under the rubber molding around the sunroof.
for more info on the roof rusting problem, check this site out:

Well the car has been good to me, now the odmeter hitting 62,500 miles the car is going good with proper maintenace.

Only problems are:

-Cracked leather on sides bolsters and on the bottom of the seat where your legs rest.

-Eaten rotors ( gt sport brake pads do grab quite well. hahahah)

Only complaint I have had on the RSX has always been the leather. I never wanted it since the beginning.

Damn Steven what are you doing stocking me?
Thanks for reminding me, the blown motor mount was due to the motor mount being installed incorrectly by the dealership when my new motor was installed. Wait, that was another problem with the motor but thats a long story and in the end the dealership took care of me.

So in the end Bell Acura took care of me beyond the call of basic customer care.
If you are ever in Arizona and need a car go to Bell Acura. They give customer service a whole new meaning.
