B18C5 with 22k miles should i change the clutch now or wait?
I'm buying a ITR swap and it has 22k miles. The shop puting in the engine will change the clutch and fly wheel for now extra cost should i do it or should i spend the 700 on something else?
$700 to replace a clutch when the engine is out of the car.
I'd say $350 for the clutch and $50 labor tops. it should only take about 30 min to replace that clutch

THe labor cost for the swap is 1k. That includes taking out the old engine and installing the new one. Included in the 1k is an optional clutch change, timing belt and water pump, and a valve adjustment. I was going to replace the ITR clutch with an ACT street/strip organic clutch (400) and ACT 12.5 lb flywheel (230). I was thinking since the clutch only has 22k it should be good for another 40k. Should i replace it now witha a better clutch or take the 630 and buy something else for the car such as CTR head lights?

I thought the same thing. My motor had 23,000miles on it so I decided not to replace it. Unfortunately, it went out 'bout 3,000 miles later...popped 3 springs out of the disc, and broke some random piece off the pressure plate. I would definitely replace it now, it'll give you some piece of mind.
