My Used 1989 Crx Dx ^__^
I am so happy! ^__^ After 2 months of looking and almost giving up hope I just purchased my crx a week ago, for $650. The guys had some damage on driver side...but i fixed a lil of it. Also got a new door and rear hatch from pick a part for $80 ^__^Always could use the extras heehee. Saw a complete b18b too but didnt have the tools to take it and the tranny, arranging to have the car brought out to the entrance so i can see if i can take it alone...
Also interested in the D engines that came in the late 80s integras, but we'll see. Still keeping my eyes out n open for a wrecked gsr or prelude. You never know
Also new left right and center light pieces for $10! what a buy, but not weather backings for those. Ill let the pictures load now! New to the board and im loving all the information about!

Here my dad took over the grinding while i took a pic

Here you can see my 240sx coupe with its stock suspension freshly installed. and my drifting helmet and my roll cage is sadly now gone T.T went to finance the Crxs purchase ^__^

Hmm Okay lets see if i can find a better pic i took after I was done.
First we stripped the car, i applied a use stock rear bumper and i have the original in the garage. Ive already repaired its cracks. I used a dent puller to pop the rear exterior panel out. I had to drill small holes into the body for the puller to be able to grab.
I then torched the side to make the metal more durable. Everyone knows that when somethings been sitting long it will be stiff and may crack with force. So after I did as much as I could with the dent puller, I then had a round headed hammer and a rubber mallet at my disposal. I stripped the inside of the rex on the driver side so i could get to the body. And that is where i began the SLOW and tedious process of firmly tapping the panel out from the inside. after about 2 hours of this and finally getting it back out. I applied bondo, to the outside to fill the minor holes, the inside however my friend carefully welded into place sheetmetal. Then I primered its side and called it a day.
I got from the seller, Newly reapolstered seats, the complete interior panels. And no alarm system or stereo hahaaha.
Over all the car is ok I guess. But now that Im having a legal problem with the law i may not get to send $ to the car anytime soon. Or if it gets bad, TIME into the car, might get locked up for an EX-friends b/sh*t.
Anyways heres the picture i still left soem minor creases because i might mold a bodykit.

Congrats on the find man. I was kinda worried after that first picture, but it looks like you know what you know what you are doing.
Oh, and your dad has some hella thumbnails!

Today I was starring at the driver door just sitting in the car, doing hw, sketching n drawing while staring at my door. Then it popped into my head. . . How will I remove the top seat belt rail? the one on the door I am considering going to the dealership for once for something. Cause its something serious that I cant realyl do on my own, nor do I want too.
Layout for plans of the car:
-All clean all purpose BUILT you know?
-Simple interior and sound system, nothing fancy.
-Misc things: Roll cage, carbon fiber wrapped dash, door sil panels and etc.
-When I do my swap Im contemplating a power steering transfer from the donar car.
Not sure yet. Any thoughts everyone?
