Front Wheels In 99 CRV Squeaking Every Winter
I have a 99 CRV. For the last 2-3 years, once winter hits I always get this annoying squeaking noise coming from the front wheel area. The noise occurs whenever I turn the wheels, going over speed bumps or in worst case situations just driving along the road.
I was just wondering if anybody else has this problem or not. I'm not exactly sure where the noise is coming from specifically or the cause other than winter seems to make it come back. I'm guessing it's the bushings but is it possible that the bushings dry out that fast?
Had them lubed last year but the squeak came back in a week, then Honda just replaced them for me. The squeak is back again this year and so I don't know what's up?
If any of you have input on this it would be greatly appreciated since I am getting annoyed of having to fix this problem every year so far.
Thanks!

get wd40 and spray the top part of your springs and the bottom part.. it might also be sway bars... you can use wd40 to lube them
just lube all the rubbers down under.. i have the same problem .. jus thavent gotton to spraying them

its the sway bar bushings, see if they have a greasbale fitting, or if the don't remove them, and a cut a piece of a belt from a military camouflage uniform found at any army navy surplus and place in between the bushing, and sway bar then tighten the bracket down.
