b16 and CA emissions
I tryed searching on this but didn't turn up much. I just moved to Cali and I need to know if it is illegal to swap a b16a into my 91 crx si. and even if it is how can I get it past smog and the dmv. any info would help.

correct, and to elaborate on this further, to make the B16a legal in your car you will need to do an OBD-1 conversion, run a P30 ECU and get the Del sol intake/exhaust manifold and all other emissions related equipment

catalytic convertor (you have to have one, not necessairly a del sol one)
intake manifold (is necessary due to different vacume line locations)
exhaust manifold (1 02 sensor)
ECU
OBD-1 conversion
those are really the only things you will "need" just remember, any aftermarket parts you put on the car (that affect emissions, IE anything with a CARB number) (if they are on it when you go to the REF) need to be made for the DEL SOL VTEC and nothing else
