Like title says, I misplaced mine some damn place. btween the garage and adjoining laundry room. Need to know what all will fit. Its a JDM Y-1 Cable from an SiR clip. I figure the early Teg is the same but a Honda dealer is closer, much closer. Do the Hydro B tranny have the same one as Cable tranny. Don't want debris dirt and water getting into it.

Call me dumb but I seem to have forgotten what piece you are talking about....

 

Its on the top near the clutch cable bracket, black hard rubber thing about half the size of a "C" cell battery. Allows tranny to breath while keeping debris and water out.

Yes, Exactly................the closest Acura dealer is 25 miles the closest honda dealers are less than 5, and thats 3 dealers. Only cable honda B trans I know of were JDM. or was the Del sol a cable? Been looking for last few hours and it grew legs and walked away.

 

The top pic was for a 90 teg, cable tranny. This one is for a 95 Teg, Hydro tranny:

 

They look slightly different in the illustration though....

 

now having never seen a Hydo tranny up close myself are they the same part? Guess I could pester the Acura dealer on the phone but I sort of wore out my welcome trying to find a match for my Y-1 throwout bearing. THey never did match it. A local parts store was able to. Contrary to what a lot of people have said my JDM Y-1 (I bought a half cut) does have a 90-91 Teg clutch but a 92-93 Teg throwout bearing.

 

Actually what I said may have sounded dumb but if it confirms they are the same, I can drive 3 miles to a honda dealer and buy one from a newer honda-hydo tranny. Otherwise I need to drive 25 miles to the acura dealer. Likely pay to special order it and drive 25miles back when it shows up. In all 100 miles of driving for a stupid misplaced part.

that part is pretty pointless to buy, its not a beather its a cap, it just blows off if for some reason u over fill the trany, and pressure builds up from heat, it dumps all the fuild out through there.. just get some electrical tape and cover it.. i don't have that thing on any of my cars, never had a problem..
