Default h22 civics. tell me what u think about my new exhaust.

ok... it is a universal apexi N1 (bronze) with 2.5" piping from the cat back all the way straight out and angled.

i can tell a huge difference in power between this and the stock civic piping. (imagine that eh)... hehehe

i think the muff is kinda small... 3.5" tip. my frend has an si with the apexi N1 cat back, and his muff is about an 1" bigger than mine...

yall think i should get the bigger muffler or what?
all comments welcome.

i've had it all on for a weekend and took a 5 hour trip to dallas and 5hours back home again (almost 1000 miles after everything)... it only scraped 2x. and i have sprint 3.25" droppers in the back and some coilovers in the front...

i thought about that.. but i spend more time in here.. and i think that i would get better replies from fellow hybriders... but it doesnt matter to me.. someone can move it there if they wish to.

oh, by the way, have u succeeded (sp?) in removing the immobilizers from the p5m's yet?

Personally, i'm not a fan of angled exhausts, and although I do like the bronze muffler (it's different) I don't think it goes well with your car.

So personally I wouldn't want that for my car, but to each his own.

ngo, naw i didnt really modify anything... the N1 is universal.. and the piping is all custom and was done at a local muffler shop.

LOL you installed it like you owned a 240sx or a supra. N1 look all big and stuff, If I had a turbo setup I get the biggest one ( the force induction muffler apexi mufflers) which come with 80mm piping. One thing I go by : I do what the hell I want. Just dont make the piping bigger.

yeah... well that is sorta where i got the idea... and from some of my friends with civics that take the piping around the control arm.. i wanted to do that too.. and after lookin at it.. i figured this would be the best route, its straight as possible, no 90* bends..

after i recieved the muffler, i noticed i had gotten the smaller one. the 80mm one is the one i wanted.. but they said since it was bronze, it was a special order and they would not let us exchange it...

and i think im satisfied with the piping.. at least until i get my turbo setup complete, then 3".

It looks wierd... but interesting... talk about minimal bends !

I wonder how much more power it makes like this compared to stock bends.... hmmm...

But 3.5" drop and that thing ?!?! I'd be scared I drive over something and rip it off...lol

That muffler is big enough, man. The smaller the muffler, the better it looks. Nobody likes a 5.5'' fart can sticking out the back of thier car. My only suggestion. PAINT THE PIPING BLACK. Do this. Do it now. Nice exhuast.
