what do i gotta do to put a jdm itr header in my rex? help...
You need to first get a 2.5" flange and converter. Also need to cut out the front crossmember. Unless you have jimfab or z10. It sucks. good luck
get a place racing its only $179 from camp1320
otherwise youll need to cut and bang the **** outa the stock xmember

Which JDM ITR did you get? The pre-98 or the 98+ 4 into 1?
I'm using the JDM 98+spec 4 into 1 header with 2 1/2 collector. I had to modify the crap out of my stock X member. I'm not sure if the JimFab clears this particular header. I think the Z10 may. but this has not been confirmed.

I had to do the same thing to my X member. I smashed it in about an inch for the 4 to 1 to clear. And what's even worse is it comes about 1 / 64 of a inch of hitting the oil pan. I can hardly put a piece of paper in between the header and the oil pan, and on top of that it scrapes all over the place.
But it's all worth it in the end, it has a 2.5" collector, so you can go 2.5 all the way out.

I'd sell it and go w/a 4-2-1
4-1 will get dented up real quick, from what i've heard.

It depends on the motor ounts that you are using. I am using HCP mounts that mount the motor so it site really low.
Hasport mount sit a little higher, but it's still going to sit low. You'll see what I am talking about when you put in on.
I wouldn't smash it with a hammer unless you are careful not to hack the **** out of it. I took a slegehamme to mine, but when you look at my X member, you can't tell I smahed it, it still has the original shape.

Do you have lowering springs?
If it's not lowered you wont bottom out, but if it's lowered an inch or two, you will have to be careful about hitting the bottom of the header.
Don't worry too much about it just be careful, you'll see what I am talking about when you install it.
