if you can afford the AO32R then go for it, those are superior in grip

but for the price Azenis go for you cant lose....best bang for the buck

currently using Toyo T1S ....awesome tire also..my suspension cant keep up with the grip

what size tire are you looking for?

A032R need to be heated up before you will feel the full potential of the tires. A lapping day will do that.

Street use go for the Azenis. I know of 7-10 people running these and all of them have no complaints to speak of....

Praises of Azeni are frequently sung...
What you don't hear...
limited size availability
heavy weight
wear pretty quick
lousy in the rain
get progressively noisier as mileage accumulates.

< azenis user.

If you want to drive w/out your knuckles gripping the steering wheel for death in moderate rain fall buy another tire.
They're scary in the rain on the highway.
Cold grip sucks, but it's not made for cold grip.
When warm, oh man, I need a track to go to w/these tires.

I would only buy them in the summer, not winter to myself for buying them now.

Umm those A032R are liternally race tires they will run out of tread very fast compared to the azenis. I personally love my azenis can't beat them and they are great in the dry. And azenis kick *** in the cold weather, I'm not sure what he mean't by they suck. Maybe you are running the wrong tire temperture. But they are pretty bad in the rain. Just don't drive like a mad man in the rain and you will be fine.

We were focusing on the negative here, assuming you'd heard what makes them so popular.

They're outstanding performance tires, especially for the money. I paid $44 per tire.

As a summer tire, they have no equal in performance at even double the cost. If cost and flat out dry weather adhesion are your priorities, this is your tire.

The A032R really is a competition tire...not entirely fair to compare the two

Ive use both last season.

The Azenis are great for the money. If money is not a factor, I'd go for the A-032R's. The Azenis tend to get a little "greasy" feeling on the track after it gets too hot.

The Azenis have STIFF sidewalls! This is good for cornering, but the Azenis are HEAVY!!! The Yokohama's are LIGHT compared to the Azenis.

If any Azenis user complains about LOUD noise or fast wear........well, they're in for a treat if they use the A-032R's .

Last season my A-032R's only lasted about 3 months on a CRX that I road raced and autocrossed. I switched back to the Azenis for the cost factor and to keep the tires the same brand as most of my competitors in my class. Mainly the cost factor though.

I wish the Azenis were lighter.

I didn't mean to come across that the Azenis suck.

They aren't your average tire. They're made to be an affordable auto-x tire.

so
1) rain don't matter
2)heaviness does some, but it's what helps out w/no sidewall flex.
3)treadwear, well I haven't had too many miles on mine yet
4)noise? who cares, How many of us can actually hear the noise over our motor anyways?

I just hope to get an auto-x in w/them.
I bought mine b/c they only need to last till this summer b/c I want to refinish my wheels anyways.

the only reason I would not recomend Azenis would be because of tire wear...I dont know if money grows on trees for you but they did not last long for me at all. I would sacrafice some performance for a tire that lasted longer on the streets.

azenies blow in rain but so do a032r's but look at both of their tread patterns . i do a ton of both and many others and the a032r's don't come up well on road force balancers like we use but they are lighter and do not get as noisy as the azenis. aggressively driving the most i got out of azenis is 10k we have guys that go 15 on them but not much more. also i found that azenis are great for autox but not that great for drag b/c the sidewalls are so stiff the break loose easy even tho they are soft. i have had bteer results on tires that the sidewall gives way at lower psi's but the tire isn't as sticky. if money isn't an option and you autox the hoosiers are the hot tire this year and last year we did alot of kuhmo victoracers. the last link to the grd is your tires so even if you have a killer setup and shitty tires you aren't using the setup to its fullest.

i do not have a problem with them at all but for the weight of the tire i have had no problems with them in the Rain and i am running a turbo B16 in a HF. they are not as grippy in cold weather but yet what tire is going to be and not go away when it gets hot.

And even thinking of running this tire in the winter with snow or frost even you would have to be on crack the guys with EVO's can't even run the tires from the factory and they have AWD.

Cory, care to adjust my tire temperatures for me tomorrow? I can't find the thermostat for them.

I will have to disagree on that one. The A-032R's are more noisy and faster wearing than the Azenis.

Like mentioned earlier, the A-032R's are a competition tire. If you are not attending regular HDPE or road racing events and want that extra edge, save your money and get the affordable Azenis. They will offer great grip for daily "spirited" street driving and occasional events.

Potenza S-03's. Got a great deal on them back when Tire Rack was having a sale and dont have a day when I ever hated them. Work awsome on dry and wet. Probley be going with a R compound tire on my new wheels once the weather warms up.

is your alignment ok? cause mine are great in the wet on hiway. when they get low on teh tread depth they get scary in the wet, but i ran mine at limerock and vir full in the wet with no issues.

Wow, I can't believe people say that the Azenis sucks in the rain. I thought they were pretty good. I've autox'd plenty of times with them in the rain and I thought they were pretty good. The problem with the Azenis in the rain was that you have to have more than half tread and then you're fine. Anything less and the water has a tough time getting out. I drove one time with very little tread (past the wear bars) and they sucked really bad but isn't that expected???
