GSR rear brake conversion on EK...is my list complete?
all these parts are coming off a gsr...
calipers, rotors, pads, hubs, ebrake cables, brackets, master cylinder, brake booster, prop valve and rear trailing arms.
what rear trailing arms would work best for a ek? and will a prop valve from a 99 si work (as long as it has a 40/40 stamp)
i've searched and this is what i came up with...
am i missing anything at all? thanks

i know this information is on this site under the FAQ, but unless you have ABS you can't use the MC, or the proportioning valve

Not even the non ABS Si prop valve?

Yep, so I thought you'd need the prop valve of the non-abs Si. Check the "How to put X brakes on Y car" thread on this page.

get e brake cables froma 99-00 si. Integra ones will work, but a little short. I have an EK too, and did the swap. If i find some SI cables I will defiantely swap them out. IMO it doesnt feel safe cuz the e brake adjuster screw it out pretty far to compensate for the shortness of the integ cables. Good luck
i had the same problems with the E-brake cables being too short. I called a local honda dealership looking for the 99-00Si coupe prop. valve so that i could have it before i did my swap and i was told that the part numbers were only 1 off of each other and that it shouldn't make a difference. I got no other help on the issue so i did the swap using the stock prop. valve that came on my 98 EX and have had no problems with stopping or with a mushy pedal at all (I am also using my stock master cyliner). Just make sure that you bleed the brakes (all four) very good. I also wanted to use the lower control arms off the integra since i got the rear sway bar too, but they are too short for the EK's resulting in hella positive camber so i put on the stock EK ones and have had no problems since October 2002.
I don't have ABS and I'm using a GSR MC and booster. Works fine. I'm also using stock e-brake cables. I would agree with what someone said above, get Si cables because it's a little unsettling. Other than that i don't think you'll have a problem. I can't remember what we did about the prop valve though.

Yup. But we also converted to Si Booster/MC (we did the front brake/suspension conversion as well)
I recommend using all Si for the conversion.

looks like u got it all....but its definatly easier with all si stuff...if you get integ make sure you use the e brake cables from an integ as well
as for the prop valve yeh u need the 40/40 from a 99-00 si
hope this helps

You might want to double check on that. Any Si MC/Booster/Prop valve will work.

thanks for putting up the part numbers. i think a lot of people waste their time
changing a prop valve on a ek.

ok i have a 96 hatch and am planning to put integra brakes on the rear, so i can use my existing trailing arms right or do i need integra ones or si ones?
also is it necessary to do a front conversion as well or is doing the rear okay?
