L3 Transmission?

Default L3 Transmission?

just wondering if the L3 was the same as a DX/SI? i am looking to get a newer one, but needed to know first. The Place i called said the DX/SI from japan both have a "L3" in them. TIA

No they are not the same. The Si has shorter gearing then the DX.

all sohc cable trannies say L3

you have to look at the bearing code located at the 11 o'clock position where the passenger side axle goes in

3000=Si
1000= HF DX

they're other ways also take too long to explain

do a search and theres a webpage that will explain it all to you

i checked the 11:00 position and it said (9/3) meaning 1993? the bigger one below it said (A000)
