after you take the pinstripe off how do you get the glue residue off? goof off? but does that destroy the paint?

buy some "rubbing compound". it looks like a little container of car wax, you put some on a nice rag, and rub the residual glue off of the car, just be careful not to concentrate on one area for too long because it can take the clear coat off also. I usually use the rubbing compound and follow that up with a nice was and wax, but not sure of the "official" way to do it.
