like the title says, can anyone help me out, i am planning on buying a set of eclipse speakers, but i was told the max for the fron for a civic hb is 6.5" is this true, what is the max for the back- 5.5" please help me out, ready to purchase parts -ALREADY SEARCHED- posted under audio, no response, please help me.

6 1/2s up front...5 1/4s in the back....

 

6 1/2 will fit. just have to cut a little bit around the area. even if you go with 5 1/4 you might have to cut also, b/c some speakers are deeper than others

 

i had some 6.5s
but they were to deep so i made a wooden O ring type deal
worked like a champ

 

get on ebay and look for gathers speakers for civic, its jdm i think

 

Ya, up front 6.5's will work, but in that housing that holds the speaker, your going to have to cut out the back portion and trim around to make the speaker fit... im not sure about back...

yea i think they are 6" cx's doesnt have rear speakers

b/c jdm speakers sound better?

i have 6.5" speakers in the front doors of my 93 cx. they're a bit too deep to sit flush in the pocket, so theyre just attaced with at an angle with a few screws. they're infinity kappas btw.

no but you can make it work for other speakers
