Default Best Alarm

What's the best alarm in your opinion? I'm planning on getting an 1992 SI and I'm forced to park it outside. I'm more afraid of someone doing something to the car than stealing it. What alarm would you suggest for a couple hundred dollars? I'm thinking something with remote start. TIA! - MOnica

Clifford is a good brand, but i am kinda partial to The viper 560xv, remote start and security system...buuutttt......it's not made to work on a manual transmission, can be MADE to , but not safely......
I beleive at least one of the cliffords ARE made specifically for a manual transmission, sooo.....just check into those.

Isn't the TW-1 made by Crime Stopper? My friend had a Crime Stopper alarm and it worked great! EVOL how much did you spend to get the alarm + installation? Yahoo says about $140 for the unit itself. Thanks for everyones responses! - Monica

i have the TW-1 as well. its a great unit with nice range to it. i work at audio crafters, which is where EVOL got his and where i got mine of course.

as far as who makes it, i believe audiovox, thats wut some people say on here. it also comes with lifetime warranty when installed by a authorized dealer.
