I wasn't trying to flame you at all man. I was stating a fact that 97+ Prelude ecu's aren't worth much at all, unless of course you have the immobilizer removed.

You mean for the Key and the chip, I have never heard of one going bad.. I think its just a myth.. If it isn't, then yes, the ECU would be worth 4$..

They don't go bad. To make the ecu work, you need the key, immobilizer harness that goes around steering column, and of course the ecu. Major PITA.
I have heard you can have the immobilizer removed, but I don't know how much it would cost or where to have it done.
