Default Short shift kit shifting like ****...

I just installed my dc sport short shifter on my 92 prelude. Now the car is shifting really really harsh, and it doesnt feel too good. Is this normal? Will those go away? If so, how long does it take to break in? Also, is this at all bad for my synchros, tranny, or linkage?

thanks, jordan

I'm thinking that something may be wrong. Mine actually felt a bit better to shift with when I first installed it.

The Prelude has a cable linkage. The short shifter changes the angle that the cables leave their sleeves. Many people complain about crappy shifts from the short throw shifter adapters.
