i'd say so. No more mods really needed if you dont WANT to ya know? unless you plan on more power its a good start either way! style and power = good buy

I find cars like this all the time.... All fast AND pretty... But, then I get up to the window to peak in and there's no interior.

Anyway, if the interior is there and is in good/stock condition I'd throw 5-7k at it.

i agree with the others: 5-7K would be the ideal range. body looks great. just make sure its not a bondo-bucket

 

I built that car..it has its share of bondo and other problems, but decent ride no doubt

 

Looks pretty sick man, try for around 5500 if its in good running order.

I think theres someone on here with a b20 tubo pushing 300whp

i dont know maybe its just me or something but i wouldnt pay 5k for that crx ( i have seen more modded/faster ones for cheaper), but then again it might be diff cuz im in socal

 

i would say around 3500-4500....just think about it this way...u can buy a mint crx from as much as 1000....by putting 2500-3500 into it, it would be the same...no more than that....but thats my 2 cents...good luck...its a B-E-A utiful rex though!!

 

I agree, thats exactly what I did with that car..I bought it as an ok shell for cheap and put in about 3k and voila, it still needs alot thoguh. has no weatherstripping, was in an accident and not totaled, but the whole rear end is basically rewelded on so it doesn't all line up perfectly and really, the way it is in the pics is about as good as it will get. Paint (not midori green, but an isuzu color similar to it) wasn't that well done really - many chips and flakes (especially under the kit where the tape held but the paint didn't and the door cap started to come off pulling paint with it) lots of little touch-up done already considering the car was painted last fall. there's more small stuff but anyone who looks at it up cose will see for themselves.
overall, nice car from a few feet away. Cheap swap, but a good one. solid ride, some bondo work. Thats some of what I know about what its worth

edit: the clutch, btw, is not act, ratehr clutchmasters stage2 that's been tracked for a few seasons at least. The present owned was misled by the guy he bought it from (SAC on this board)

 

~$4500 or alittle less....but on something like prices its always hard give an opinion, too many factors especially being that the costs for cars and mods is a lot different in different areas....what i can find for $2000 here in So Cal may very well be worth $5000 in Iowa..you know.
