Default problems with drop-spring install... please help

The guy who bought my car finally got the time to install the drop springs for it today..

there were four springs of course,

two looked like

/ / / / / /

and two looked like

/ / / /////

Pretend they are springs laying down on there side.. just to give you an Idea of what Im gonna say..

Two were stock looking, the other two had a bunch of coils spaced out, then a few at the bottom bunched up.

We installed the ones with the few bunched up coils on the front, and the full coiled ones on the back.. the front is slammed, and the rear looks about an inch or two higher than stock...

Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

Is it that we reversed the way the springs were supposed to be installed?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you have the springs reversed. You have the fronts in the back and vice versa.

we got it all fixed..

looks alright, but it wasn't a 2.5in drop like the seller told me.. i think it was more of a 1.5 or 1.75.. either way, it is dropped and not sitting like a dragged out mustang...

thanks for the replies

nah.. i would rather find the right spring.. Because it isn't my car..

my del sol is dropped on cut springs and stock struts.. I don't mind the ride, but If I had dropped it myself, it would definately have been coilovers and adjustable shocks..

But for what it's worth, my ride isn't totally aweful.. and his drop has settled some and looks alright..
