I recently did a b16 swap from a 00' civic si into my 97 civic cx. I want to get rid of the code 91 (gas tank pressure sensor) but it's impossible without the si gas tank. Just wanted to make sure that the gas tank will fit before I picked one up. Thanks.

the easiest thing to do is get the jdm b16a ecu, or run a obd2-obd1 jumper with chipped p28.

 

yeah but I can get the tank for free from the same car I got the motor from. I just need to know if the damn thing bolts up properly.

 

you should not need the tank. when i got my fule pump from a crv for my b20 swap it came on the(for lack of a better term) thing that bolts in to your gas tank. Your civic should ahve two things as i had mentioned above and the crv has one. Anyway the sensor is mounted to one of these things that bolt into the tank. I will eventualy put this in the tank and run a wire to the computer and see if this fixes the problem.
