Strange Situation
Well, first and foremost i gotta say **** the district of columbia sewage system.
I was driving in DC and had to go under a overpass in the city. It was after a rain storm so the ground was wet, but under the tunnel, it was flooded. The water rose about 12 inches off the ground and i was forced to drive through it (traffic). Anyway, the stretch of water was about 20 feet long and my car barely made it through. I am dropped more then 3 inches so ALOT of the car got submerged, probably up to more then 1/2 the rotor. Water got into the cabin through the holes for the passenger seat and somehow got in under the rear seats. Everything is dried out now, but is there anything other than stank and rust i should be on the look out for?
cliff notes: drove through a 12inch puddle for 20 ft. Water entered cabin, floor got wet, what do i have to worry about?
BTW, if i had a cold air intake, my engine would be gone, and probably my car too.
