Default cruising speed RPM in the ITR

Just a quick question out of curiousity...at what RPM is the needle pointing at say 80 mph?

i think around 4000-4500. Somewhere around there. Its probably the same as your GSR.

my GSR is at 4000 +/- 50 rpm under most conditions and mpg really suffers. ITRs have closer gear ratios so shouldn't be a tad higher?
What about the LS?

Half worn 205/50/15 AVSi : flying mile w/tach indicating 5K rpm, 41.71 sec = 86.3 mph (actual),
looked like 92-93 on the speedo. .... so I guess I wasn't anywhere close to 140 @ 7.5 K rpm. ... in fifth.

What about the LS?
3.5k +/- 10 on a Gen 2 LS. I think the gearing are all the same between g2 and g3 LS tegs.

The tach would show about 4600 @ 80 mph, for my tires.
That simple enough for ya?

I've got stock tires and the tach reads exactly 4000 rpm at 75 mph. At 80 it would be around 80/75*4000=4267 rpm.
