GS-R seats
I havent found anything on what is involved in putting them in a 6th gen civic (I heard welding is involved) and of those who have them how do you like them compared to the stockers???

To fit GSR seats into a 6gen Honda Civic the rails will need to be switched. There isn't any welding involved so long as you switch rails, once the seats are unbolted from the car remove the plastic handle and pieces from the side of the seat. Underneath the seat on the rails there will be four bolts total, two on each rail. Both can be found on the far ends of the rails, sometimes sliding the seat forward/backward upside will help to expose the bolt to remove. Once the bolts have been removed, it should be fairly simple to swap over to the GSR seat. Installation is reverse of install.
like INVALID said, you have to swap over the rails. just look at the bolts and it is fairly straightforward. if the bolt seems too hard to reach and take apart, that's probably the same one i tried to take out before i realized you didn't have to.
you will reuse the inside rail and seat belt assembly from the civic. the outer side will use the civic rail and the integra plastic covering.
it will all make sense when you lay it out and look closely to what you actually need to swap over.
hope that helps, let me know if you need pics.
