i have an 1989 honda civic 4 door dx and i want to know what isthe best engine i can put in it that has the most hp??

h22 are heavy and don't take well to turbo, if you go that road. id say for the best value get a b18c1 or if you have the money a b18c5.

probably h22 because it has more torque than the c5
