H22 Swap into an Integra with JDM front end??? Possible??
I currently have a H22 in my 2001 Integra and now I'm onto my next project. I've always loved the JDM fronts and I wasnt sure if the JDM radiator support moves up closer to the motor than the USDM one. My radiator fans BARELY misses the clutch bleeder valve. I was wondering if anyone has done this swap with this conversion before with no problems.
Are you running a slim fan? You can also contact C&R and order a radiator with front mount slim push fan. Either way you'll be fine. Just call and talk with Rob Cordona, he's a good guy. Good luck

I've seen both NA and turbo'd H22 Integra's with a JDM front end. I can't speak from experience because I haven't owned or performed the swap. I do know that it will fit, just not sure what exactly is involved but it shouldn't be much different that having the stock US front. Using a slimline fan or possibly a radiator swap would be the only mods that could imagine.

Yeah.....its possible...the h22 does not effect the front end of the car.......you'll just have to run a civic radiator because the location of the alternator on the h22 would hit the "condenser" if it was still retained.......
my friend had a h22 integra with a jdm front end and I LOVED THAT CAR........he ended up selling to a friend of ours in lousiana....

loserboy is right about the civic radiator. even if you dont keep the condenser too close for my comfort level... my h22 ran a little hotter but noting that bothered me... not to mention the car made a 3700 mile move with me from sunny cali to tenn with no probleam other than the constanly empty fuel tank...
The JDM ITR front end radiator support is relatively in the same spot, but is maybe an inch or so more forward so there's slightly more clearance. There is no difference or no problem when doing the conversion with a H22 swap.
Awesome... thanks for all the info guys!!
Also Newman... my friend should be picking up my P28 H22 chip from you soon. He was the one inquiring about the SiR-G foglights.

Damn... I thought he was going to come back when he said he would because I already got rid of all of the DC2 foglights, but I have the chip
