Default Quick question about leaking coolant

alright, i was thinking it was a hose, but now im thinking its the water pump, there is a seal for the waterpump right, i say this because right below the water pump, is where the coolant is leaking out from, its not pouring out, but its like a slow drip, and it eventually hits the header, and poof theres some bad smelling smoke and since iver never posted a pic of my car, here ya go.

umm.. i dont see how a leaky pump would get water near the header.... but to answer the question, a leaky water pump is an indication that its gonna fail soon
