Default The Snowball Effect

UPDATE 2/18 - motor and painted roll bar - check end of thread of this post

PROJECT SNOWBALL

I wanted to show you guys what i'm doing this winter. if it wasnt for all you on honda-tech, i would probably have never turboed my car in the first place, and then ripped out that perfectly good set-up for a more powerful one So thanks to all you out there. And a big thanks to friends for helping me out / doing evertything , espacially Mike and Fu (pics below).
Got the name snowball, cause we are painting it white and its SO f'n cold out and did you every here of the "Snowball Effect". Starts out with something small and easy - well so did this

here is the low down on the car.
95 dx coupe
built d16z6 on its way
t3/to4e 60 trim
720cc injecotors
Uberdata (need to get new version and 3bar)
techedge wideband for tuning
custom 3in downpipe and exhaust
8pt rollbar
traction bars, etc.
repainting everthing championship white
looking for high 10's -11's
gonna be a drag car, but used to scare people on the street

What it began as - late last spring

eewww

As of a 1.5 months ago -

turbo b18b - ran mid 12's

before the painting began

friends who do all the work

t3/t04e dwarfing the kitten

Two coats of base on the base

cleared the bay

paint me

test fitting the roll bar

some more turbo stuff

what my ever loving patient girlfriend thinks of the snowball effect

the blinging bay!!

painted the suspension red for the ease taking pics etc. cause for our senior design project we are doing traction bars and supension design etc- just you guys wait - its gonna be revoutionary for the import scene although i cant take any of the credit. just wait two months

the 8pt roll bar in

from the rear

gonna paint the inside this week or weekend and the motor should be here by friday

I am shaving the moldings on the side and painting the mirrors, handles, etc. Gonna put some pearl on the exterior and do some subtle ghost flames on the front/sides to make it look nice and pretty. i wont finish the exterior until spring when it warms up a bit.
Comments, questions, and advise are welcome!
Thanks everyone for all the help!!! I couldnt do this without you guys. and look for more posts, i'll be putting up pics here as i get more accomplished.

UPDATE 2/18
got the rollbar painted - some base and some clear - you can see yourself in the roof

the built d16 begging to go in

JG stamp of approval

yea its a POS mani - but i functions well and looks good. I am gonna hold the turbo and dowpipe up using a brace off the motor mount, so if it breaks - its not cause of vertical stress. it got it so cheap, i just have to try it
thanks for the compliments all

you should think about going with a GT28RS rather than t3/04e

spools faster because its a T28 hyrbrid and puts down just as much power.

why didn't you build the LS motor instead of going back to the sohc?

Very nice. What does the built Z6 consist of? I am going for 350whp out of my built Y8 this summer with Precision SC50.

yet people make well over 400whp with log style mani's that dont flow as well as an equal length. and i have seen over a handful of people with this mani make high hp. their built quality sucks, not the design
and the z6 was built by JG - rods, pistons, blockgaurd, crower turbo cam, valve springs, ti retainers, oversized valves, balanced crank, etc. im gonna psuh enough boost (20-25psi) to get me down to some atleast mid 11's or until i crack a sleeve
fixed the rollbar pic too
