dude next time do a search. this such a simple ? but to answer ? the b16 head and the itr head are exactly the same as far as casting of the head so that means the fit exactly the same but as far as performance the itr head is way better

waste of 1800 dollars... 1100 could be spent on head work, the difference invested on cams and a gears. my head flows way better than an itr head. all it needs is cams and an upgraded computer. Not even a vafc

type r = hype.

get his stock 99 si b16a head port and polished and put some after market springs and retainers in there and call it a day. that will blow a itr head out of the water

negatory. my head has all stock parts

call to some head porting places, joe alaniz is a busy man so I dont know what the turn around on your stuff would be... but eventually a good valve job would have you set man. some mild cams, and a hondata. dont even bother with that vfac ****.

well, i wouldnt go that far.

no offense, its just a hype-r head.

id rather spend the money on pnp any day on my b16 head. i already have toda spec bs.

i just cant believe people these days still go crazy over type-r cams. unless you get some head work, it really doesnt make that much more power than b16 head.

ITR and CTR cams like more compression. considering the stock b16 with the head will only has 10.2CR, were as the JDM ITR has 11.1. and the b16 has less displacment.

so all in all your taking a head that likes a higher CR and more displacment and matching it with a block that has lower CR and less displacment. now you still might see some power gains but i don't think they will justifi that 1800. what you should to is bumb up the CR to around 11.1 or 11.5 and get your head PnP with full valve train and some nice cams. then rev the **** out of it. or if you not looking for that much power just get some work done to your head. since they have the same casting it would be cheaper/more logicall just to havet he b16a head worked. again you wont see great power with that CR though

You got **** all twisted kid, the money could be better spent on a polish and valve job on the head and just use a thinner head gasket.

the itr head was and is a waste.
