I must have run over a freshly painted white stripe on the road or something because I have white splatter on the side of my car.

Any idea on how to safely remove that?

 

I'd try a clay bar first. If that doesn't work you may have to try something like polish. If that doesn't work, compound. If that doesn't work, wetsand.

Usually a clay bar will at least take the majority out.
