Default Audio Intallation Help for 2000 Accord EX

I know this should go to audio forum, but since it is specific to Accord, I think I should get more response here.

I just bought a single din Panasonic cd/mp3 player for my 2000 Accord EX from circuit city. They offer free installation, but after looking at their installation kit, I think I better install it myself. The kit comes with a cheap plastic bracket that has a really shallow pocket tray. it also seems like the cd player's face would stick out a lot using that kit.
I've seen the LX OEM tray pocket and I want to buy that from Honda. Do I still need any installation kit with the LX tray pocket? Does Honda make any installation kit?

Also, can someone show me some pictures of their sound system in their Accord? Thanks

no honda does not make a installation kit for your car. You are better off using the one that you bought from circuit city. If you want the cd player to fit correctly you need the kit.

How about using the LX tray pocket with another installation kit? is that possible?

I have an 01 accord LX. I didn't have to use a kit at all. I took the factory out and just bolted right on. I still have full use of my pocket tray.

Great... thanks. I'm going to buy that pocket tray from the dealer tomorrow.
