Default Removing 5th Gen Bumper

What the hell is going on. I know what I have to remove. The problem I am having is with these plastic clips that line the top of the bumper (where it meets the trunk lining).

Heres an example pic:

I have tried to unscrew them and all they do is spin freely inside the plastic washer. I have tried to pry them up but they are so pliable that they just bend in half. I dont want to saw these lil ******* off. Whats going on here?

try not to push down to hard when you unscrew them...

or try prying the screw up from inbetween the washer and the screw while unscrewing it

What I used was a pair of dykes (wire cutters) and slide it under the head of that "screw" and pry up....if they are so pliable that they break you can get a bag of them from Honda for very cheap.....also you can try pushing from the bottom of the "screw" instead of pulling from the top.

I removed my bumper as well to do a headlight swap. I found out that when i was turning them the little thing they go inside to hold them in place was spinning with it. So i used my finger and held that piece from spinning and i unscrewed the other thing and it worked out. Not sure if that helps you at all or not?
