Default H23 vs F20

Is the euro Accords F22 and the H23 basically the same engine or am I seeing things. They both have blue valve covers and both avail from Japan and across the pond in Europe. Is there a major difference in them cuz I want to put one (H23a) in my civic sedan(97). Help?!

don't let the colours fool you! But yes the H series and F series have alot in common. As far as I'm concerned the H23 is DOHC VTEC while the F22 can be DOHC but without the VTEC, although if I remember correctly there is a F22 SOHC VTEC.

Get the specific code and give it a search
