Check engine light when cruising?
Hey, ive had this problem for a while, but im getting annoyed by the light. When cruising down the highway, my air to feul gauge will read a bit on teh rich side, and then after a coupel seconds, it will just fall all teh way lean and my check engine light will come on. Its a code 43, feul supply.
Heres teh deal, its been doing this for a while, after i installed my obd0 to obd1 conversion. I am usign obd1 injectors, but before hand i was using obd0 injectors with teh resistor box, and thats when i first got the code 43, and my car would cut off when on full throttle. SO i swapped to obd1 injectos, and that went away, but the code didnt.
If im going through traffic, constantly on and off teh throttle, it wont come on, only when i start crusing at a set pace. What could it be?

Hey guys, jsut got back from work, i figured it gets really lean when the check engine light is on and im not at 50 percent or more on teh throttle. That cant be good. It is running pretty rich before the check engine light comes on, so i turned my vafc down a bit on teh low cam at narr throttle. And then the check engine light comes on a bam, runs real lean? Why woudl it do this?
Either the o2 sensor, Or check to make sure your tps sensor is adjusted correctly.. Also improper tuning can cause this.. On my crx I get a o2 sensor error when im at like >5% throttle and it would go to like 17.5 a/f, This was caused by my tps sensor not adjusted correctly.. Check the voltage comming out of it.. It should be .45v with key on and not pressing the gas..
