Yesterday at Road Atlanta they said that there would be 12 races next year, but will probably turn out to be 10 by the time racing starts next year. Good news I know some of u guys thought there wasn't going to be a series next year....well now it is final.

Our Man from Brazil won the Points Championship on Friday....2 years and going on 3. P. Cunningham drove one of the ITR's from 38th in the Touring Race to 11th in just 20+ laps with 5 yellow flags. Good stuff this weekend, glad to say we will see it again in the near future....Nov. 9th at 8 is the Touring Car race from Sunday at Road Atlanta.

Here's a shocker...

When we asked the RTR mechanic about the future of ITRs, he said they will be debuting the RSX-S platform next season. He said, they like the bigger engine with more torque. Hmm. It will be interesting how it turns out next season.

 

That's cool about the RSX, maybe we'll see some ITRs in the hands of privateers like Foo. It'll be interesting to see what kind of mods they're allowed to make on the RSX.

 

I wonder if it will be a RSXType S or a RSXType R???????????????????

how did foo end up in teh standings anyway? he is bad man gives everybody hell!!!!hehe

 

I don't even think Foo finished... he kinda disappeared after half the race. I don't think that little car can fare well in the back straight in R.A. You need high HP to blast the straightaway.

 

Yeah, Foo was about mid pack 15/17 out of 40+cars. I am not sure about over all for the season....maybe top 10.....Taz was in the top 7or8 for most of the race on Sun. I am not sure what happened, lots of crashing this weekend.
