Was i wrong to assume that all civics are wired for a/c? I always thought that hondas came prewired...well, Im going to put a/c in my STD hatch (commuter). I ran into a few problems:
heres where the ac push button would be, the plug is there so im ok here.

this is a shot of the evap core, the white object in the middle has a 2prong plug, i cant find where it plugs into!

this is the line under the battery going from the condensor to the evap core. 2prong, no harness plug anywhere.

heres another shot of the evap core (left) blower (right) once mounted theres a huge gap (center). do i need a blower from a car with ac? or are all blowers the same? whats wrong here?

any help/input is appreciated. TIA

You need the A/C harness. It's not part of the engine harness - it's it own seperate harness.
I did a car up with A/C before and everthing ekse is there to add the A/C system. you don't need to replace anything, but you do need to add everything else.

I think I have an A/C harness laying around, I just removed my a/c. It has a plug above the ECU where the engine harness meets the interior harness.
PM me.

when i was searching i do remember seeing a plug on the harness that didnt match anything, it was right above the ecu. thanks! so the harness plugs in there, then the remainder of the ac harness plugs into the evap core, thru the fire wall to the compressor, fan and switch?

wiring in the works
ok, what about the gap in the evap core and the blower?

is there a difference in the blower? do i need one from a car with ac? My evap core is outta a 4dr, is that the problem?
*The other side of the evap core fits fine. Ive tried to move the blower housing over but that was a no go...

you would need the clamp, i think there is two of those
the one between the blower and the evap
the other is between the evap and the main hose (on the picture)
the clamps are also from the civic that has A/C
